Picture City International Inc. first commenced active operations under the Picture City brand in 1998 in key locations in southern Luzon, central Visayas, and northern Mindanao. Since then, it has expanded its business to serve more locations nationwide, including Metro Manila.
Since its founding Picture City has won several awards, including a 2001 Most Promising Retailer prize from the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which was followed up by a 2002 Outstanding Filipino Retailer prize awarded by the above-mentioned organizations.
Picture City was once again given a 2007 Outstanding Filipino Retailer trophy by the PRA and the DTI. In 2008 it was presented the same accolade and was thus elevated to that contest’s Hall of Fame.
Picture City’s core activities include analog and digital photofinishing services, digital camera sales, studio services, and other merchandise sales.
